Bonnie Over The Ocean

Spontaneous visit of Zac, Kate and Sieonna. We had a great time playing HALO3, bbq’ing, working on the Memorial Garden and the guys were being put to work to assemble the new patio furniture that we just got from Crysta.

Carolin and Madita stopped by as well and we played LIFE, a board game I hadn’t played in forever. What a nice weekend.

Spontanbesuch von Zac, Kate und Sieonna. Wir haben HALO3 gespielt, gekocht und gut gegessen, am Memorial Garten gearbeitet und haben die Jungs dazu gebracht, die neuen Gartenmoebel zusammenzubauen, die wir erst kuerzlich von Crysta geschenkt bekommen haben.

Am Sonntag kamen dann noch Carolin und Madita vorbei und wir haben LIFE gespielt, was ich schon seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr gespielt habe. Was fuer ein entspanntes Wochenende.

On June 20th, Dan and I went to Dan’s coworker’s wedding. Thao and Vi had the m0st beautiful wedding I had ever been to. There were some 400 people, a TON and I mean a TON as in 12 courses of delicious foods. Most of the time, we had no idea what we were eating but it was awesome. Congratulations again to Thao and Vi!

Am 20. Juni waren Dan und ich auf die Hochzeitsfeier von Danny’s Arbeitskollegen eingeladen. Thao und Vi hatten ein super schoene Feier. Ich glaube, es waren so um die 400 Gaeste da und es gab TONNENWEISE Essen. Und ich meine TONNENWEISE aka 12 Gaenge. Meistens wussten wir gar nicht, was wir so essen, aber es war einfach total lecker und ganz toll dekoriert. Herzlichen Glueckwunsch nochmals an Thao und Vi!

Dan and I went to visit Allison and Gabe down by Philly. Allison has a great house and we spent Saturday night bbq’ing and playing HALO 3. On Sunday, Allison took us into Philly and played tour guide. We went to see the boat houses, the Rocky statue and walked down towards the city. We also went to the infamous GENO’S STEAK, where the line was REAAAL long…but we waited patiently to have a real Philly cheesesteak. Thank you Allison for a great weekend.

Dan und ich sind am Memorial Day Wochenende zu Allison und Gabe gefahren. Allison hat ein wunderschoenes Haeuschen in der Naehe von Philadelphia. Am Samstag Abend haben wir lecker gegrillt und HALO 3 gespielt. Am Sonntag sind wird dann nach Philly gefahren, wo Allison Stadtfuehrerin fuer und gespielt hat. Wir haben die Bootshaeuser gesehen und die Rocky Statue und wir sind ein Stueck in die Stadt reingelaufen. Danach sind wir noch nach Suedphilly zum weltbekannten GENO’S STEAK, wo wir uns in eine SEEEHR lange Schlange gestellt haben, um ein richtiges Philly Cheesesteak zu ergattern.
